“It’s My Life” Interview
By Elisa in Jul 24, 2010 | Categories: Articles & Interviews, Shake It Up

A new interview with Bella about Shake it Up! has been added to It’s My Life Blog. It’s really fun to read it so be sure to check it out!

IML: Tell us about “Shake It Up.” It sounds great!

Bella: It’s about two girls who are best friends, CeCe and Rocky. I’m CeCe and Zendaya is Rocky. It’s about their friendship and them trying to become lead backup dancers on this show called “Shake It Up Chicago”. And they’re just testing their friendship in the meanwhile. Plus handling school and boys and life in general.

IML: How are you similar to CeCe, and how are you different?

Bella: I would say I’m very, very similar to CeCe because she’s really athletic and she always has an “up” side, she’s never a “down” side kind of person. She’s always like, “Let’s do it! Let’s do it again!” She’s very tough. Let’s just say you can’t tell her what she needs to do; she’ll just do it. She’s very set on what she wants to do and needs to do, and she’s going to work for it. And that’s exactly how I’m like her. How I’m not like her…well, she’s a little boy crazy. I’m not. I’m not allowed to date!

IML: What kind of friendship do CeCe and Rocky have?

Bella: They’ve been friends for a long time and they always have each other’s back. But their friendship gets tested by the experience of being on the show.

IML: Do you and Zendaya get along in real life?

Bella: Yes, very much so! We actually did a commercial together a long time ago, and when I saw her at the screen test, I was like, “She looks so familiar!” and then we figured out that we’d worked together. Now we hang out a lot.

A new interview with Bella has been posted by Kidzworld. Check it out.

Kidzworld: What’s your ultimate goal in the future?
Bella: I want to go to college at USC and have time to do charity work. Of course, I plan on acting and dancing anytime that I can.

Kidzworld: How do you balance work with school and just being a regular kid?
Bella: You have to have a schedule, hahahaha! I work and do school and on the weekends, I get to hang out with all my friends and do fun, regular things like bowling, movies, shopping and frozen yogurt trips.

Kidzworld: What advice would you give to kids who love modeling/acting, too, and want to do it professionally?
Bella: Get a good agent! Also, no matter how many NOs you get if you keep trying, you will get a YES! Do what you love and do it just for yourself and everything else will come along …

By Elisa in Apr 26, 2010 | Categories: Articles & Interviews

Article from Hair Style Twist

Bella’s must have long hairstyle with beehive top is shown here in a pic of her at “Project Runway” for Project Angel Food Season Finale – Viewing Party:

A red color tint can make brown locks look rich and help catch the light. A visit to a professional salon is a good idea for a consult. Long full bangs brush the eyebrows and subtle spirals decorate the long front strands. The crown of the head has a beehive bouffant that is all the rage with many celebrities. What a great style this would be for any special occasion. Check out the video to help with how to ideas.

“American Cheerleader” Interview
By Elisa in Apr 17, 2010 | Categories: Articles & Interviews, Big Love

Bella recently got interviewed by American Cheerleader. She talks about Big Love and other things. The article also features two amazing images by JSquared photography and I will add those really soon along with other images.

AC: You and your siblings have such interesting names. How did you get the name Bella?

Bella: I was named after Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

AC: You’re only 12, yet you’re starring in an Emmy-nominated show! How did you get your start in entertainment?

Bella: I started with modeling and commercials. My brother started acting, and after watching him, I thought it was something I wanted to try.

AC: You’re currently playing Bill Paxton’s daughter on the HBO hit “Big Love.” How did you get involved in this and what drew you to the role?

Bella: My family’s a huge fan of “Big Love,” so it was something I really wanted to be on. I auditioned for a different role than the one I got, but it all turned out well, and my role is actually bigger than the one I thought I was going to get. I was drawn to the role because I hadn’t played a part like it before and it was challenging.

AC: Who have you enjoyed working with the most on set?

Bella: Amanda Seyfried, Bill Paxton and Jeanne Tripplehorn.

PopStar Interview
By Elisa in Mar 28, 2010 | Categories: Articles & Interviews, Big Love, Wizards of Waverly Place

Bella recently did an interview with PopStar. Talking about Wizards Of Waverly Place, Big Love and her upcoming projects.

Let’s start with Wizards of Waverly Place, even though your episode won’t air until the summer. Considering some of the very serious shows you’ve acted on, how on your radar was Wizards before you came on to guest star?
Well, I watch Disney Channel and I love the show, but I never knew that I’d be on it one day. I was really happy when I got the call that I booked the role. It was the first time I was actually on a show my friends could watch.

Your episode is entitled “Max’s Secret Girlfriend” and you’re playing a character named Nancy. Can we assume that Nancy is Max’s secret girlfriend?
I think you could assume that!

Give us a little more of a feeling for the episode, for your character.
The episode is very funny. It involves hilarious magic tricks and multiple story lines going on at once with my character.

You’ve actually been doing regular and recurring roles the past couple of years, so what was your experience like, stepping back on to a set for a one-off, for a guest shot?
It was different for me because on most shows, I get to develop a relationship and get a feeling of the acting style and pace of the show, but when it is a onetime guest episode you kind of just go with the flow and make it up on the spot. The cast of Wizards are really close and they have a good thing going. They understand each other and know where they are going with each line.

Bella to attend and event this Saturday
By Elisa in Mar 11, 2010 | Categories: Articles & Interviews, Bella News

Bella is going to be at an event this Saturday called AllyKatzz Tween Town Hall Meeting

Teens and tweens who have done amazing charitable work will be recognized for their selflessness at the AllyKatzz Tween Town Hall Meeting held at UCLA this Saturday, March 13.

Over a hundred girls have been invited, as well as celebs like Ana Maria Perez De Tagle, Bella Thorne and Demi Lovato’s little sister Madison De La Garza. Demi might even stop by, too.

During the event, girls will be “DM’ing” (Denim Messaging) for charity by bringing a pair of jeans to decorate with inspirational messages and donate to girls in need.

Denise Restauri, founder of AllyKatzz.com, a social networking site for young girls, is on a mission to empower this generation. She says, “These tweens and teens highlight the very best of what youth today stands for. They had the insight, the compassion, the courage, the willingness, and ultimately the commitment to stand up, speak out, and lead others by spearheading their own charities or making an impact on a larger non-profit.”

It’s said that the list may change but we really hope she’ll attend. See the rest of the article here. You can see a list over all those attending.

Young Girls Hairstyle
By Elisa in Mar 9, 2010 | Categories: Articles & Interviews

An Article on Bella’s hairstyle at the Dear John premiere

Young Bella Thorne was everyone’s delight at the 02/01/2010 “Dear John” World Premiere when she wore her long red brown hair in gentle coils that traveled below her shoulders and then secured with a small red bow on the side. Her bangs were an asset unto themselves smoothly fashioned and spaced in thick pieces as they were placed just under her eyebrows. The amber hair color and hairstyle fits Bella quite well and portrays a very feminine presentation along with her peterpan/butterfly mixed collar design that is trimmed in the white setting within the denim colored blue dress.

Bella’s hair is ideal for a young girl such as herself. The hairstyle would require a coiling or curling iron to set the curls into a tight vertical position and then allowed to gently fall where they hang. Her hair color is a light warm brownish red that would appeal to those drawn to the look of earthiness and wholesomeness. Her makeup is light, with dark eyeliner, mascara and a flesh toned lip tint and is au natural. With her length of hair Bella can easily wear it up or down, braided or around with a ribbon.

Who say’s kids can’t make a difference?
By Elisa in Mar 1, 2010 | Categories: Articles & Interviews

I found this cute article from Kidsworld. It is from September 22, 2009 but I thought I’d post it anyway xD Because I really like it, Bella is saying how kids can help other people and what she does to help others it’s a great article you must read it if you haven’t already.
I took out some parts of the article to put here, mostly just quotes, there are many great things in the article so read that.

“So many kids want to help other people now, and that’s a great thing,” Bella told kidsworld.

Of all the causes she is involved with, the Nomad Charities are closest to Bella’s heart. “I got involved by sponsoring a child for school and living,” Bella says. “Your money is used for your friend to go to school, eat and live in Africa. I like how it’s it’s personal. One girl wrote me through Nomad, and I felt like I was really making a difference.”

“There are so many ways to help others,” Bella says. “Writing letters to the military or visiting the elderly are things that make a big difference and they are easy and fun to do. World Vision and Food banks are easy to donate to. I think that many more people are helping others now and we will see many more.”
