Amitiville: The awakening promotional pics

Been a while but we are still here in a new year, 2018, and we still support Bella in everything she does, we just have less time for taking care of the site and keeping you updated, but we are grateful that you guys are still here with us.

I added some promotional images of Bella in Amityville: The Awakening, the movie that finally came out after a long wait as it was filmed back in 2014. But they finally released more images from the film shortly before it came out in October 2017, and so I have added those images to the gallery.

“Amityville: The Awakening” International Trailer

A new international trailer has been released for Amityville: The Awakening, featuring new unseen footage, take a look below! I also added a couple of promotional stills and an international poster.

This movie has been postponed a lot, the first trailer for the film was released back in August 2014. So almost 3 years ago, but we can’t wait to see it and the current date for the US release is now June 30, 2017. So not long to wait now.

‘Amityville: The awakening’ has been delayed!

Just read some sad news about Bella’s upcoming movie Amityville: The Awakening having been delayed! Expected release date was January 2nd, 2015. But now it is unknown when it will be released, maybe mid-summer 2015. Here you can read an article from bloody disgusting about why this came to be!

Some bummer news hit a week ago, announcing the delay of TWC-Dimension’s Amityville, which was to hit theaters this coming January.

Now, we’re being told one of the potential reasons behind the push.

A source who wishes to remain anonymous explains that the studio held two separate screenings for Amityville: The Awakening (this I have confirmed), and the feedback was overwhelemingly positive.

The main issue audiences had with the Franck Khalfoun-directed sequel was with the ending, resulting in the Weinstein execs to order re-shoots. In additional to some additional photography (to spruce up the movie), the effects work was falling behind. The delay gives more time for post work, such as the VFX.

Lastly, the reason for the indefinite delay is that star Cameron Monaghan is in the middle of shooting the new season of “Shameless”, and his schedule is unclear.

Our multiple sources tell us that the plan is to finish everything after the November holiday and aim for a mid/late summer 2015 release.

In the film, “Belle, her little sister, and her comatose twin brother move into a new house with their single mother Joan in order to save money to help pay for her brother’s expensive healthcare. But when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house including the miraculous recovery of her brother, Belle begins to suspect her Mother isn’t telling her everything and soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.”

It stars Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bella Thorne, McKenna Grace, Cameron Monaghan, Taylor Spreitler, Thomas Mann and Jennifer Morrison.

‘Amityville: The Awakening’ Trailer!!!

First trailer has been released for Bella’s upcoming horror movie “Amityville: The Awakening” which was only name “Amityville” before but now has the additional title. It seems to be a truly scary film and Bella is doing a fantastic job, featured in the trailer a lot!

There is no father to speak of this go-around, with Leigh and her three kids settling into the Suffolk County abode before all of the unsettling paranormal activities begin. Another twist we haven’t yet seen in the series: One of the children (Cameron Monaghan, currently starring in The Giver) is bed-stricken with severe injuries – and the ghost maggots definitely are not helping. It’s his sister (Bella Thorne) who will start unraveling the horrifying mystery of 112 Ocean Avenue. “This house is really bad,” she cries at one point. Amen, sister.

All told, this will make for the 12th film in the Amityville series (though several went direct-to-video), beginning with the infamous 1979 original The Amityville Horror.

It will be released in cinema on January 2nd, 2015, just a few months away!

Disney Channel sensation Bella Thorne is set to star in the new “Amityville” horror movie for Dimension Films and Blumhouse Productions, multiple individuals familiar with the project have told TheWrap.

Franck Khalfoun (“Maniac”) will direct the fright flick, which according to Bloody Disgusting, will also star Jennifer Jason Leigh. Daniel Farrands and Casey La Scala co-wrote the script and are expected to produce with Jason Blum of hit factory Blumhouse.

Leigh will play a single mother who moves her three kids into the “Amityville” house, which of course has a very dark history.

Dimension had planned on reigniting the popular horror franchise using a found-footage angle but that idea has been dropped, as the format appears to have fallen out of favor with discerning genre fans. “Amityville” remains scheduled for release on Jan. 2, 2015.

The original “Amityville Horror” was released in 1979 and received a high-profile remake in 2005 that starred Ryan Reynolds and Chloe Moretz. The franchise is based on Jay Anson’s book “The Amityville Horror: A True Story.”

Thorne, who starred on the hit Disney Channel series “Shake It Up!,” will soon be seen in Voltage Pictures’ thriller “Home Invasion.” She also co-stars in the Disney movie “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” as well as the Adam Sandler comedy “Blended.” She’s repped by WME, LBI Entertainment and attorney Howard Fishman.
